Анализ на международната реакция срещу „Ислямска държава“ като заплаха за сигурността

Сирийската гражданска война изглежда се доближава до финалната си фаза, но потушаването на въстанието изкара на сцената джихадистите, присъединили се към «Ислямска държава» и Ал Кайда, да съберат остатъците. В действителност, военното поражение на «Ислямска държава» в Сирия и дори в Ирак не слага край на тероризма и екстремизма. «Ислямска държава» обеща да продължи борбата си и призова за атаки срещу Запада. Междувременно повечето от основните проблеми, които доведоха до възхода на джихадските организации продължават да съществуват. Няма лесен отговор за справяне с такава сложна, експанзивна и нестабилна заплаха. Преодоляването на различията и сближаването на позициите е от ключово значение за борбата на международната общност срещу разпространението на отровната идеология на ИДИЛ.

 

Analysis of the international reaction against Islamic State as a security threat

The Syrian civil war appears to be nearing its final stage but the demise of the rebellion has set the stage for jihad forces allied with Islamic State and al-Qaeda to pick up pieces. In reality, military defeat of the Islamic State in Syria and even in Iraq would not mean the end of terrorism and extremism. The Islamic State has vowed to continue its struggle and has called for attacks in the West. Most of the underlying problems that led to the ascendance of jihad organizations, meanwhile, persist. There is no simple answer to dealing with such a complex, expansive, and volatile threat. Overcoming differences and aligning positions is key in the international community's fight against the spread of ISIS' poisonous ideology.
