В статията са анализирани някои основни проблеми във вътрешната и външната политика на България, по-конкретно: главните причини за съвременното незавидно
социално-икономическо и външнополитическо положение, в частност икономическите реформи от 1990 г.; кризата на Балканите – следствие от противоборството между свръхсилите и политиката на регионалните фактори; политика за мир в условията на остри геополитически стълкновения в района на Черно море и на Балканите; рисковете на конфронтацията между САЩ и Русия в Украйна и на Балканите; мирният потенциал на инвестиционните проекти по линия на ОЧИС и ЕС като Балканския газов център, Черноморската автомагистрала, екологическия мониторинг, регионалния туризъм и други.
България се стреми към укрепване на мира, избягване на конфронтацията в Черно море, решаване на конфликта в Украйна и подобряване на отношенията на ЕС с Русия.
Bulgaria and peace in the Black Sea region

Тhe article analyzes some of the main problems in the domestic and foreign policy of Bulgaria, in particular: the main causes of the current unflattering socio-economic and political situation due to economic reforms carried out in 1990; the crisis in the Balkans – consequence of the confrontation among the super-powers and the policy of regional factors; the peace-building policy in the context of acute geopolitical clashes in the area of the Black Sea and the Balkans; the risks of confrontation between the USA and Russia in the Ukraine and the Balkans; the peace potential of investment projects in the framework of the EU and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization such as the Balkan gas center, Black Sea highway ring, environmental monitoring, regional tourism and others.
Bulgaria seeks to strengthen peace by avoiding confrontation in the Black Sea, resolving the conflict in the Ukraine and improving EU relations with Russia.
