Наслояването на кризи усложнява проекциите на геополитическите сблъсъци върху Югоизточна Европа

В този встъпителен доклад пред ХV международна конференция „Сигурността в Югоизточна Европа“ авторът обръща внимание, че нови, непознати сили трансформират света и генерират качествено нови заплахи за сигурността, а ние робуваме на постулати, уроци и примери от други исторически времена. Досега заплахите се смятаха за идващи от човешки общности, организации, индивиди и цялата система за гарантиране на сигурността беше ориентирана към това да се минимизират заплахи от други човешки общности и индивиди, а COVID-19 показа, че най-сериозната опасност за човечеството е нещо невидимо. Наслагването на много кризи в новите условия прави трудни за разбиране проекциите на съвременните геополитически сблъсъци върху Югоизточна Европа.

Crisis stratification complicates projections of geopolitical clashes in Southeast Europe

In this introductory report at the XV international conference „Security in South-Eastern Europe“ the author argues that new, unknown forces are transforming the world and generate new threats for security, At the same time we are sticking to the lessons from the past historic times. Till now the common understanding was that the threats were coming from humane communities and individuals and the security systems were aimed at minimizing such threats. COVID-19 proves that the serious threat for mankind is something unseen. In these conditions overlapping of many crises makes difficult understanding of all the projections of the geopolitical clashes on South-Eastern Europe.
