A year ago, the figure of the 46th president of the United States, John Biden, caused diametrically opposite emotions and expectations. Supporters of the new owner of the White House saw in him a highly experienced leader, opponents – an incapacitated „guest from the past“. But over time, it can be said that the truth, as it usually happens, turned out to be somewhere in the middle. The negotiating activity of the Biden administration makes it clear that the White House has finally begun to take Moscow seriously. But, alas, only a realistic view of the state of affairs is absolutely insufficient to get out of the confrontational peak, the new stages of which we are about to observe in the future.
