За доближаване до крайната цел – обединена, цялостна и свободна Европа, са необходими неотклонна политическа воля за реформи, сътрудничество и диалог. Предоставянето на шестте страни от Западните Балкани на реалистичен път към членство е най-добрата противоотрова срещу бъдещи войни в Европа.

Kyuchyuk is a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, First Vice-Chair of the Delegation to the EU-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee and EP standing rapporteur on North Macedonia, Uzbekistan. He is also a member of the EP delegation on the Conference on the Future of Europe, and substitute member of the Committee on Transport and Tourism, Committee on Legal Affairs and the Delegation for relations with the Arab Peninsula.
While Europe and its allies from across the Atlantic have been facing unprecedented new security challenges, the EU integration of the Western Balkans has become an imminent imperative in view of securing Europe’s safe and prosperous future. Building stable connectivity with Western Balkan and overall security is the path to handling inevitable emergencies and developing resilience to emerging risks and threats. Unswerving political will for reform, cooperation, and regional dialogue is needed to get closer to the ultimate goal – Europe united, whole, and free. Offering the six countries of the Western Balkans a viable path to EU membership is the best antidote to future war in Europe.
