Professor and Head of Department of Political Science and International Relations, and Acting Dean of Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at İstanbul Gedik University. He teaches global and Turkish political economy as well as Turkish grand strategy and foreign policy. He has been to Harvard University and Osnabrueck University as a visiting scholar/professor. He published in various journals. He has monographs and edited books on Turkey-EU relations published by Routledge and Palgrave in the UK. He also has two recent books in on Turkish political economy.
